Antique heart pine shares the same characteristics of the old heart pine flooring except it contains very tight grain and smaller knots. Mineral stains may present themselves as exquisite unpredictable grain alterations. We currently produce the antique heart pine flooring in 6 and 8 widths. Because vertical grain is sawn from the outside layers of a tree the heart content will vary.

During the milling process our technicians take careful steps to produce the desirable pinstripe pattern. New heart pine is also available at a fraction of the cost of reclaimed material and more importantly you know what you are getting. The antique heart pine flooring is primarily quarter sawn. Red hills lumber vertical grain heart pine wood creates an even harder flooring surface than other grades of heart pine.

Quarter sawn pine flooring we also offer a 4 vertical grain grade with little to no knots and rich heart accents scattered throughout.
